Charlotte Stock Remains High
Introduction To Charlotte, Real Estate in the Heart of the New South #1 On You Tube for Charlotte NC
This optimistic take on Charlotte passed a milestone last week, the 30,000 view mark, making it one of the most popular “city” videos in the US. It’s visibility and popularity on You Tube has earned it over 40 ratings and 50 comments, and is 5 times as popular as the 2nd most popular Charlotte video…
It ranks in Google across a wide range of keywords, including the popular search: Charlotte Real Estate. However, this fact-filled video’s popularity is a reflection of Charlotte’s popularity- Charlotte’s stock remains high in the eyes of the rest of the country.
The video represents a strong sales presentation favoring Charlotte. It started as a business building blog project 2 years ago. It has taken on a life of its own through You Tube. The initial purpose: introduce Charlotte and Terry to the world- and bury some southern stereotypes along the way. Now, many more people come to the blog after seeing the video… they seem to like Terry’s unique take on Charlotte. Terry’s claim “that if Atlanta can be the Capitol of the New South, then Charlotte can be the “Heart” of the New South” has caught on.
Clearly, interest in Moving To Charlotte has remained high, fueling the video’s popularity.
Much has changed in Charlotte in the last 2 years, and in an effort at full disclosure I have produced video updates and market reports on the state of Charlotte real estate. His most recent video update concerns Charlotte and the Over $1M Real Estate Market, a struggling market to be sure.
Still the vast majority of the video is as true today as it was two years ago. Charlotte is a large modern city in the south, with a small town feel, big town amenities, and a bright future.

Congrats on 30,000 views! That’s a tough trick. Do you know if any other City real estate videos have more?
Congrats on the video Terry!! I understand why it is viewed so often… its REALLY GOOD!
Thanks Olan… it has surprised me.
I agree, interest in Charlotte hasn’t waned.
The world’s economic issues may have slowed down some projects, they can’t hold Charlotte back. I talk to people everyday who are working hard to advance the Queen City’s rep in a variety of arenas. From my perspective, the city’s got a bright, bright future.
Congrats on your large number of views, Terry.

Thanks- and clients last month after driving thpough Charlotte said they saw “no signs of recession.” Of course there are some, but certainly much more good than bad…
Great video Terry. It does a super job of displaying the fine points of Charlotte and the lush landscape for the surrounding areas.
